Sawyer Squeeze Pouches Trail Shower Hang Handles Lanyard

I don’t know if anyone else out there has tried this but I used a leather punch to punch out the reinforced areas at the base of my Sawyer Squeeze Pouches.  Then I found some Nite Ize RR-04-50 Reflective Cord, 50 Feet, Green and threaded it through the holes so I could hang the pouches off my pack or use them as lanyards. Paracord Planet Reflective Paracord Made of 100% Nylon With 7 Inner-core Strands Available In 10, 25, 50, and 100 Foot Lengths That is Made in the USA
works just as well but it’s a little bulkier and heavier.

Another thing to do is loosen the cap; hang the squeeze pouch from a branch and use it as a shower. Or simply attach the filter and it will trickle out at a slow rate automatically.

The bags wear out way before the caps so you always end up with extra caps so why not just drill the cap with a couple of holes and that will be your shower cap.

I attach another cord around the neck with a loop at the end which allows me to roll the bag up and keep it rolled by putting the loop around it and cinching it up.  This way I’m able to keep it stored in a compact and protected manner.

Works for me!
