I’ve had this bag for about a couple of years now take it on any hike where I know the temp will be dipping below 40 degrees and it hasn’t failed me yet.  It’s a great bag for the money and has some cool features like the extended baffle system that you can deploy to give you more room to cool off.  It also has an integrated light in the hood to help you find stuff in the dark.  I’ve had this bag down to freezing at Linville Gorge and the Wonderland Trail without a base layer and I’ve stayed perfectly warm.  It may be too heavy for some backpackers but it’s a decently priced synthetic bag that will keep you warm down to freezing.  This is my go to bag because it packs up small into a size small Sea To Summit Compression Sack and it works in a lot of different temperature ranges.   I may go to something lighter in the future but this has a lot of good features and a really good price.
